Job Title: Research Integrity and Ethics Assistant

About the Role:
Staffordshire University is seeking an administrative assistant to support the management of research governance and ethics processes. The successful candidate will coordinate the review of research ethics applications, manage appointments of Professors and Honorary Researchers, and provide administrative support for research-related university committees. You will report directly to the Director of Research, assisting with the implementation of export control policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the review of research ethics applications
- Support the appointment process for Professors and Honorary Researchers
- Provide administrative assistance to research-related university committees
- Assist in the implementation of the export control policy
- Manage sensitive material and topics in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Educated to A Level (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4 or above
- Proven track record of providing administrative support to research activities
- Experience developing and deploying administrative processes to enhance customer service
- Ability to handle sensitive materials professionally
