ICAEPA stands as the guardian of conscience, fostering informed discourse on the ethical implications of AI, biotechnology, and public governance.
The International Centre for Applied Ethics and Public Affairs (ICAEPA) was founded in February 2023 as a non-profit organisation to respond to growing ethical concerns around issues of exploitation, inequality, and lack of transparency in medical research, healthcare, and environmental management.
ICAEPA’s founders recognised the need for a dedicated platform to promote ethical decision-making and behaviour in public affairs and to engage with the public around issues related to ethics and accountability.
Promoting Ethical Perspectives Our goal is to create an interdisciplinary forum and promote public engagement on a range of ethical issues in biotechnology, AI, medicine, healthcare and environment. We uphold the fundamental idea that promoting rights, well-being, and dignity of all human beings should be the supreme obligation of all persons.
We believe that promoting these values is essential for creating a more just, transparent, and equitable society.
All our work, activities and interactions with the public and all stakeholders will be open and transparent to promote public trusts.
Our activities will be organised in a way that promotes the common good and the well-being of all members of society.
We believe that respect for all individuals is essential. We promote diversity and inclusivity.
