Prof. Edward Uzoma Ezedike. Director of Environmental Ethics and African Philosophical Values.

Prof. Edward Uzoma Ezedike is a Professor of Philosophy in the University of Port Harcourt Nigeria. His areas of specialisation are in Applied Ethics (Environmental Ethics & Bioethics), Philosophical Jurisprudence, African Philosophy and values. He is a recipient of African Research Scholar Program Award (ARSP) from the US government, Senior Fulbright Fellow and a visiting Fulbright scholar to the Center for Environmental Philosophy (CEP), Department of Philosophy and Religion Studies, University of North Texas, Denton, US and a Fellow of the Association of Philosophy Professionals of Nigeria.

Prof. Ezedike is a member of several academic bodies including African Studies Association, United States. He served as a former Coordinator of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Port Harcourt Nigeria. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy ( B.A. Hons.), Master of Arts in Philosophy (M.A) and doctorate degree in Philosophy PhD (Ethics and Law).
