Dr Campbell holds the position of a senior lecturer in behavioural science/clinical psychology and serves as the deputy dean (research & graduate studies) in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at The University of the West Indies—Cave Hill, Barbados. He is a registered psychologist in Barbados, holds a license in the US, and is chartered in the UK. Dr Campbell is actively involved in teaching within the psychiatry and family practice residency programs at UWI. His research interests encompass psychological measurement, health psychology, and bioethics, and he regularly publishes in these areas.
Furthermore, Dr Campbell serves as the chair of the Research Ethics Committee, which operates jointly between the University of the West Indies—Cave Hill Campus and the Barbados Ministry of Health and Wellness. Additionally, he holds the position of vice-chair of the Caribbean Public Health Agency Research Ethics Committee. Dr Campbell’s contributions extend to his membership in the Executive Committee of the Caribbean Network of Research Ethics Committees and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Barbados) Ethics Committee.
